Within the frames of this special offer consumers will be able to use 25% discounts. Till 21 December GMC Group and Unicard are offering people doubled points. For every second visit, customers will receive doubled points corresponding to the amount spent on their first visit.

More than 840,000 cards have been issued by Unicard. Tbilisi is the most active city in the card’s network and most of the company’s cardholders are residents of Tbilisi . One of the most remarkable facts is that, Unicard points are unlimited and saved points will not vanish before the end of the year. People will have an opportunity to use the saved points after the New Year and receive the gifts from Unicard during the most appropriate time for them.

There are one million Unicard transactions every month. Home appliances, cell phones, books and jewellery are some of the most popular rewards. The company also issues high value gifts including travel and large appliances including laptops, TV sets, refrigerators, gas ovens etc.

According to Unicard representatives, the number of their partner companies is constantly growing. Some of the new companies that have joined Unicard recently include: GMC Group restaurants Shemoikhede Genacvale, Kalakuri and Dzveli Saxli; air agency GASA; sports centre Seaside; shoe shop CEYO; and the newly opened Smart supermarket on the Gori highway.

Unicard recently opened a showroom where people can choose their gifts directly off the shelves. About 100 different presents are available there. People can visit the Unicard website and browse through the selection of available gifts.

“In September we added the service of paying for utility bills with points accumulated on one’s Unicard,” said Beso Abuladze, General Director. “The service has become very popular and we are now working on making it possible to pay for other bills with Unicard points as well. Paying utility bills is possible by visiting the company’s website. If consumers don’t have access to the internet they can check their account by either contacting the call centre or visiting Unicard service points,” Unicard representatives note.

Customers can use their Unicard and save points in Tbilisi , Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi and Gori. The Unicard service will be available in Marneuli by the end of the year. Unicard’s new catalogue is now available with more than 1,000 presents, novelties and special offers. Unicard holders can order exclusive watches from Switzerland, add an extra day to their dream holiday, arrange a personal photo session and choose many other luxury rewards.

One year ago Unicard offered its customers prize draws on facebook. Unicard and its partners also arrange some weeks where winners are awarded certain gifts from its catalogue.

Unicard is only available for retail clients. Corporate clients generally don’t pay cash and that makes it impossible for them to use Unicard. The company doesn’t have any plans to include corporate clients in the programme. But the company has huge plans regarding expansion of their network, more marketing actions and services, and adding more gifts to the current catalogue.
