The FINANCIAL -- On 10 Feb. the first Hotel Indigo opens in Continental Europe. Hotel Indigo Berlin Centre Hardenbergstrasse is a boutique hotel from IHG, one the world’s biggest hotel company, located in the heart of the German capital.

The FINANCIAL -- DoubleTree by Hilton proudly announces the opening of a newly renovated, upscale full-service hotel in Portland, Maine.

The FINANCIAL -- Marriott International announced that it has signed agreements with Prime Hospitality S.A. to manage its first two hotels in the Central African nation of Gabon: an upscale, 250-room Marriott Hotels & Resorts branded hotel and a 40-unit Marriott Executive Apartments extended stay hotel in Libreville.

The FINANCIAL -- Hilton Worldwide announced the signing of development agreements to open four new hotels in locations across Turkey, taking its development pipeline to 13, and the number of hotels, either operating or under development in the country, to 33.  The announcement was made during the 2012 Central Asia and Turkey Investment Conference.
